Electronic Pre-Alert Manifest (ePAM)

Electronic Pre-Alert Manifest (ePAM)

(Information updated until 31 January 2021)

In line with the government's technological advancements and efforts to make Malaysia a trade hub across borders especially through e-commerce platforms, the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD) took the initiative in developing and implementing the use of the electronic Pre-Alert Manifest (ePAM) system to improve speed, efficiency and streamlining of customs clearance procedures. The ePAM system allows courier service companies to make a simplified import declaration for multiple importers at once before the arrival of goods. Implementation of the ePAM is expected to accelerate the release of goods and further enhance trade facilitation.
